Today I'm going to simply talk about why you shouldn't trust people on the internet. but before we start, why don't i tell you my story :) Back in July of 2012 there was a post on the forums here about rewriting minecraft. (Minecraft Rewrite 2) I thought i should join up and become a part of the community. Why not?! So I applied to join as an artist. I was accepted very quickly and was told to give the "owner" of the project my skype. I signed up for skype and gave him my username. That's when i met the other person who was accepted. We worked together non stop coming up with ideas, etc. Eventually it became obvious we were only going to be able to make a mod so... we did! The "owner" coded while me and the other person worked on art. Even though many other applied and WERE accepted, only the three of us ever worked together. This went on for a month until school started. That was our downfall. We slowly separated well, the "owner" did at least. Then we finally disbanded after two weeks into August. Recently me and the artist have coincidentally met in another project together and we are very excited. after watching the "owner"'s skype statuses change very often. I concluded that he cannot focus his mind on one topic for very long, sad but yes. Now just the other day the "owner" remakes the original mod and uses our graphics from the original mod. he never gave us credit. I asked him about it but he ignored me. That made my rage expand furiously. This is a great example of why you shouldn't trust people on the internet no matter how nice or intelligent the seem. You could get your hard work stolen, your identity taken, information collected about you in reality, and so much more it is horrifying. Just learn from my mistake, DO NOT TRUST ANYONE ON THE INTERNET!
Proof that I'm not kidding!
