This post is mostly just so that I get enough XP to actually post the mod.

More Containers and Doors (the name might change) is a mod that I decided to make while I was browsing through pages and pages of generic "more tools and ores" mods on the MCForums. I realized that nobody (to my knowledge) has really done anything like this before, and so I decided to fill that gap. Here's what the mod adds:

Crates:



Crates are the first container this mod adds. They are crafted like this, at a crafting table or in your inventory:



They can store 9 items, and their inventory looks like this:



Barrels:



Barrels are the second container the mod adds. They can be placed on top of each other, and they will connect vertically. They are crafted like this:

Trapped Doors:



They look normal, but when they're opened, they'll power nearby redstone wire:



They're crafted like this (they don't have their own texture yet):



So that was my preview of MC&D. More is coming soon, including doors that teleport you instantly and invisibly when activated or walked through.
