mods on a mac?

i was wondering, how do you make a minecraft mod on a mac? i don't want to download a lot of applications for it.

please tell me or give a link to a video or somfin.

Hello, i have a mac. There is a very simple way to do it. Download something called mcpatcher. Before you run it, go to the finder button,go to library, go to application support, then go to minecraft. It will say bin, resources, saves, etc... Create a new folder and name it mods. Close the window. Run mcpatcher once and when its done loading close it. Go back into the folder you just created and it should say 1.2.5 or something like that. put the mod you want to use in it (it must be in a zip file) and run the mcpatcher once more. CLick the plus sign, go to the mods folder, click 1.2.5, and click the mod you want and click add. It will pull up a smaller window that you can choose what you want from the contents of the folder. They "/" may be highlighted by default, so make sure you click the mod name that is right under it. Hit ok or add, and then hit patch. Then just play minecraft! I hope i helped!
