I bet anyone can tell you the being a server owner is tough. When you are the owner of a server you are held to higher standards, you have lots of work to do.
The server you make is never complete. What I believe is that when you server is "done" then its dead.
Although that line is harsh and too the point my mornings are pretty busy and can include any of the following:
- Checking our issues tickets
- These include anything form bugs, to hackers, to just about any issue that happens on our teampeak, Website, and or Server
- Checking Ban appeals
- Checking Staff Reviews
- These can included good and bad stuff. It's feedback on our wonderful staff that give me more insight on where their placement can and should be and since i maintain a good relationship with our staff, i get to see who that are and they are truly wonderful people.
- When i get in i'm expected to do a lot of different things and its hard to keep track with it all.
- I also code along with OkinawaBoss(Developer) to make the server more enjoyable for our players.
Aside from all the task that i balance along with my every day life, the server is a very fun community and its good to know all the people in it. We have been up for 10 months and have had over 25,000 different players join.
It work but iv learned alot from it (Website Design, Java coding, some php, SQL) and those are all used in everyday businesses.
It's about time to fill my coffee cup and anyone whom reads this, just know this- (My Grammar Sucks)
