Minecraft 1.3 adds alot of new features, theese are my thoughts on thoose features.
Singleplayer Cheats
This will be a cool update, for people who want to expirement and mess around with minecraft. Like giving yourself items, XP and more. I cant see any bad things about this.
Ender Chests
Ender chests will be a cool update for singleplayer, so you can have a chest in a house, and have a hideout like 5000 blocks away with a enderchest and keep thoose two places in touch with the same items, but in multiplayer i cant see anything good about this, its player-specific and if it wasnt it would be epic as a sort of messaging device, having a friend on one chest and you on the other side sending eachother items, but since its player specific, no item messaging D:
Emeralds
This will be a great feature! instead of having to wait and explore and mine and do all that time consuming work just to find diamond, and obsidian for a enchanting table, you can find some emeralds or trade items for emeralds to get enchantments from villagers, or blocks from villagers. this will make villagers actually have a purpose other than stealing items from their houses! Also, emerald blocks would be a great addition to creative because having a new creative block to build with would be EPIC! once 1.3 is released im going to make a big statue of Steve out of emerald.
Writable Books
This will be a super cool update. Maybe in multiplayer servers people can have libraries and the libraries would supply people with books to write in and then they could contribute to the library, so people could share stories in multiplayer, or even logs of their buildings or adventures!
New Creative Inventory
Thank GOD we have a new creative inventory, instead of scrolling through blocks constantly you can open individual tabs for items or search for them, this update will really come in handy.
Overall, i think 1.3 will be a great update.
