Need help on making a server

i begin trying to make a the pubic server but no none can connect if you know how to fix it please tell me how to fix it so people can play on awesome adventure maps and i to take map request for the server do fix it please tell anything about how to fix it and please check out my stuff on my account

cbetts if you put the ip in disc or if it's hamchi people need to get hamchi and connect to your network and then they can join your game
