Need Ideas!!!

I am going to be making a minecraft server, but I need some ideas on what to build. Almost ALL ideas will be used, if they are within my ability, and all ideas are welcome, from very small things to huge ass things. Thank you to anyone who contributes.One current idea that has been given to me is building an airship fleet with NPCs being the crew members.

A tower? I'm having hard times as well. Even worse than yours :P
(Minecraft updates = all my mods fked up.

How big should the tower be? I don't think I'm going to be doing the airships right now, but I can definitely do a tower.

about 12 block radius, and it would be cool if it was 200 blocks high. Since the limit is 256 :)
