The following is a script for a hypothetical Dead By Daylight spotlight trailer with Minecraft's most famous tall tale. Let me be clear; I know this will NEVER happen as Dead by Daylight is too gory for Mojang to want any part of it, but it's fun to come up with concepts. Feel free to use this script in a video, I only ask that you credit me. Also, this is heavily inspired by Rarithlynx's custom-made trailers. Lastly, I'd like to say that I'm new to Dead by Daylight and don't know if any of these perks and powers would be considered overpowered. If you have any suggestions to make the following move set fairer, please let me know.

The Script:

Most of the Overworld is quite serene and quiet. Even when the googlies emerge from the shadows, it's nothing a humble shelter and good night's rest can't fix. It doesn't matter how eerie the night is; there will always be a sunrise to compliment it. Every villager, illager, and human alike knows this trend like a family member. But what if someone changed the rules? What if the lethal night were permanent? What if walking bombs and stupid zombies were the least of your worries? What if an old friend were sneaking up to slit your throat right behind you?

Straight from the legends, the new killer is Herobrine, aka: "The Revenant."

Out of a simple desire for malevolent chaos, he and the Entity have recreated a noble sanctuary into a sinister snare. Your new map is "The Village." A sick parody of an Overworld town. It once sheltered peaceful villagers who would work, bargain, and socialize, now it's a common tomb. Each time the map is loaded, the biome and materials are different each trial it's used. The Village can be from the plains, desert, savanna, snowy plains, and taiga. The map layout will remain roughly the same.

The Revenant's power is "Corrupted Spawner." At his own will, The Revenant can call for the aid of hostile mobs to better track down his prey. He can spawn four separate mobs at a time. These are a zombie, creeper, skeleton, and spider respectively. Each mob flashes the empty white eyes of their master when attacking. It is not too difficult for survivors to outrun them, though.

Zombies will sluggishly wander the map, searching for survivors. Once in pursuit, the zombie will emit a horrible groan, and gain a slight movement speed increase.

Creepers will crawl around seeking victims to blow into oblivion. Before they explode, they hiss horrifically. If a survivor is too close to the creeper when it explodes, they will suffer the dying state.

Skeletons slowly, but quietly roam looking for targets to snipe with their bows. However, loading their bows causes them to make a loud rattling noise and survivors need only be quick to avoid getting shot.

Spiders have the gift of being able to sense survivors without even seeing them and from a greater distance than the other mobs. They can climb walls and even reach ceilings. Careful next time you repair a generator, something might be crawling up from the other side.

The Revenant can only spawn one of each mob at a time and each time one is spawned, their ability to be formed goes into cooldown. Each new distinct mob spawned will replace the old one.

The Revenant comes with three new perks.

Keep your name well-known while casting doubt in the public with "Deniability." For every generator you damage or breakable object you destroy, the perk receives a token. The next time you hook a survivor, you lose them all, but for each token lost, all survivors receive the blindness status effects for 2 seconds. The during this status, your aura is hidden, leaving them with a sense of doubt.

Don't just come back from the grave, make your reentrance unforgettable with "Spectacular Return." When the perk is activated, your eyes flash and anyone who sees you will scream and reveal their aura for a moderate duration. However, the perk has a lengthy cooldown.

Leave your prey without a prayer and keep them in the darkness with "Hex: No Hope." For each affected totem, all survivors performing objective or altruistic actions in its radius will be given a random penalty during, and 3 seconds after they complete or fail to complete their actions. These penalties include oblivious, blindness, broken, exhausted, exposed, hindered, mangled, and incapacitated.

Prove that the legends are true and take your delightful vengeance with the Minecraft: Herobrine Chapter for Dead by Daylight.
