The following is a follow-up script for a hypothetical Dead By Daylight spotlight trailer with Minecraft's Warden's opponent: Steve. Let me be clear; I know this will NEVER happen as Dead by Daylight is too gory for Mojang to want any part of it, but it's fun to come up with concepts. Feel free to use this script in a video, I only ask that you credit me. Also, this is heavily inspired by Rarithlynx's custom-made trailers. Lastly, I'd like to say that I'm new to Dead by Daylight and don't know if any of these perks and powers would be considered overpowered. If you have any suggestions to make the following move set fairer, please let me know.

The Script (continued):

New Survivor: Steve. Despite his plain look, Steve is a powerful human from a mystical, mysterious world. He specializes in combat; both melee and ranged, architecture, traveling, crafting, and resource gathering. All of those skills naturally came to him due to the numerous carnivorous beasts native to his overworld. However, none of his previous tribulations could have prepared him for what the Entity had planned. One day, when Steve and his allies were wrapping up a successful raid of a hell-like dimension, they were eager to take a portal home. Though, instead of going back to their village, they found themselves in the dark realm of the Entity. Steve can be swapped out for any of his allies: Alex, Noor, Sunny, Ari, Zuri, Makena, Kai, Efe, Adriene, Hex, Hal, and Valorie.

Steve and his allies come with three new perks.

Use your ever-useful salvaging skills to your advantage with "Legendary Looter." The eerie abandoned structures you've plundered have trained you to be thorough and gather all that you can. Now you get to share your gift to increase your chances of success. Once per trial, when you open a chest you and all survivors receive a mystery item. If they are already carrying an item, they will instantly receive a new one upon its use. The rarity of the given items increases in likelihood as the perk is upgraded.

Your maximization knows no bounds. You have learned to make the most of everything given to you with "Desperate Resourcefulness." Every time you complete one of the following tasks: cleansing a totem, unhooking a survivor, unhooking yourself, opening a chest, opening the exit, or repairing a generator, the perk receives a token. A maximum of two tokens can be carried at once. For each token you receive, each findable item will be buffed. When taking advantage of a buff, you lose a token. When the perk is active, flashlights will gain 4 extra seconds of life. Medkits will gain a 20% healing speed bonus, altruistic or not. Toolboxes gain a 20% boost in their repair rates. Keys can reopen the escape hatch 20% faster. Lastly, maps last 10 seconds longer.

You've created several beautiful structures in your world. Now, however, you must use your incredible architect skills to save your life with "Blocking the Way." Start the trial with two tokens. Wherever there is an area you can vault, you may quickly place a ton of stone behind it, forming an impenetrable wall. If you build the wall while the killer is vaulting, they are temporarily stunned. Every time a wall is built, a token is consumed, but one more can be gained per times you are hooked. One more will be gained if you survive after the exit gate opens. Beware, these walls only last for ten seconds and by the end of the duration, the Entity will evaporate your masterpiece.

It'll take more than your stash of diamonds and trusty pick to save you and your friends this time.
