soooooooo I made an OC >:D, they have a sci-fi backstory that I put here, and i used a picrew I am really bad at making human art sooooo oooo use the picrew :D
The early 1900s
Her father was a scientist, and they called him mad, therefore she was called insane as well, nevertheless the girl was proud, she was convinced her father was a genius who could change science and mankind's perspective on the subject, she also had an interest in science - chemistry actually, her father did not care for it, he was more interested in the science of hybrid animals...and combing human DNA with that of an animals.
She did not see much of her father so she continued her own research, the research of finding a formula for life - not forever life, heavens no, definitely not for humans, she understood the consequences of that, wars could continue forever! Instead she was focused on plant life, she believed this could help restore the earth to the natural beauty she knew it had to be once - or at least she hoped...
One day something went horribly wrong...she could not remember if it was her father or herself, but one day...somehow...she became a hybrid human, she became half-human-half-fox, she was declared a freak and dangerous and was locked up in a asylum where they called her Vulpine (pronounced Vul-PINE - which fun fact is meant to represent variable universal life and then pine to go to her hybrid-fox thing)
Eventually they let her out of the asylum, it was 1949, this is when the legend of the Bunny Man came to life...It terrified her, so she spent her life in hiding, living in a crisp mountain forest where she built a cottage...as far away from Washington as she could, she decided that her pronouns would change to it/them as she did not want a female identity anymore
Regardless of the experiment that put them in the terrible state that they were in, they continued their research, they discovered the formula but unfortunately could not share it with the world before they died in their sleep (because it had the lifespan of a fox and it was about 17 years old...early death sadly)
