Diamonds aren't something you just give out because you're nice. It's like being a judge for a competition and rated everything a 10/10 just because it was made.

You can't just diamond everything you see. There's over 1.2 million submissions on here, you're going to diamond every single one? Even if they're bad?

You're misinterpreting what it means to give a diamond. A diamond means you like the submission, and you admit if the submission is bad (which means you too don't like some submissions) you don't diamond it.

Now of course you probably are saying "Download = Diamond" but here is the case that most people have-

a. they're online
b. they download the submission and either find out it isn't what they thought, or just plain forget about it.

Also if you get a download be happy for that, not be sad for what you think you should have.

And if you want to put it into other standards, you might as well give the full package if you have to download and diamond. As in you favorite, you comment, you subscribe, you diamond, and you download.

I respectfully disagree. I feel like diamonds are meant to say "That's awesome!", "I downloaded that and want to see more updates!", and even "I would recommend that to a friend!" As much as I would like more diamonds, I feel like diamonds should represent full support.
