Okay so server owners, say like you have a lot of plugins like essentials, v10lift, groupmanager anything. and all of a sudden all your config files reset to there default config style so firstly check the following things:

If none of these worked create a new file with notepad, call it "jxmpdtjava.txt" without the " and put inside the code:

Essentials, group manager, stuff to do with essentials - CLICK TO REVEAL SOLUTIONS
- Make sure you put '*' if you're trying to show all of the permissions in the config instead of - * because - * means reset the configs.
- When you're editing. make sure you click save afterwards
- In group manager check that there isn't 3 spaces infront of groups: in the global_groups.yml
All the other plugins, everything basicly - CLICK TO REVEAL SOLUTIONS
- So firstly, don't install inactive plugins unless you're installing an old version of the plugin that is active.
- If there is a "# Don't change the following:" of simular in the config don't change whats under that.
- Make sure you've downloaded the right thing, don't download an advert or something on the download pages,
- if you're using a host use FTP to manually install the plugins yourself so you can install it correctly.
- Make sure there isn't an accidental # before data lines like for example "# time-amount: 30" instead of "time-amount: 30"
- Report bugs to the bukkit plugin owners, also look on the forums for more solutions!
