Hi Buddies!!!! ^-^ so last night, I was up till about 2:30am making these little paper minecraft figures while watching television. IT'S SOOO FUN!!! The ones I made are in the picture :) and I shall not reveal my face lawl. x) I made a few a few months ago, mostly the little ones... but I made a bunch last night and let me tell you, I had a blast! xD it's sooo fun! Not only that, it's very easy! (And you can do it while watching TV yay!) :D
So you basically just go to google images, or yahoo images or bing or WHATEVER search engine you use xD anyway, you just pick whatever block or mob you would like to make, for example, "cow" and for that you would type in "minecraft cow cut out" and there should be results with cut-out templates for a cow! :) Next, you just print it out... you can use crappy paper or good paper, I used crappy paper for a few, but nice, thick paper makes it much easier. So after you print it out, you cut out the block or mob from the paper, and make sure to cut out the tabs also! Next, fold the cut paper into the shape of whatever block or limb it is, and the fold the tabs. After you have them all folded, you can use all-purpose glue and glue the tabs. (I'm not sure if gluesticks work, but they might). So now you can just let those dry for a few minutes. After they have dried a little, you can then start gluing them together to the shape it is of what you are making. (If you are just making a block, your already done lawl.) It is good to lean it against something while it is drying so that it doesn't fall apart. And you're done! ^-^
TIP: (This only works for things standing on two legs with arms, such as Steve or an enderman or zombie,) If you are making a mob and you want the arms to move, before you put the head on, put tape across the shoulders and sticking a bit off the sides. You can then add arms by sticking the tape hanging off the sides to the top of the arm. Then you can put the head on. Now you have fun, swingy arms! Yay! ^~^
Have fun with your little papercraft figures! <3
