Hi Guys! Today, we'll be discussing which is better xbox or the ps3.

So let's skip the intro and get stuck straight in.

1. Controllers

Xbox 360:





First of all, i might as well let you know that i have an xbox and can barely go near a ps3, but i'm going to be fair.

The grip on the analog stick of the xbox controller are far better than that on the ps3. First off all, they have indetations where your fingers can go and grip to stop them sliding about, they are also not as sensitive as the ps3 ones.

The postioning of the analog sticks can be argued as it is really a personal opinion. Because, the xbox controller fits your hands in a natural position, but the ps3 controller also offers a comfy positioning.

The buttons on the xbox make much more sense, why have shapes when you can just have easy to follow letters, A,B,X,Y.

I think the xbox 360 wins on this one.

2.MarketPlace

The marketplaces on both the consoles are equally good, but seen as this is planet minecraft, i might as well mention that xbox does have a slight advantage to the ps3. The fact that you can play minecraft on it. I have tried both marketplaces and i find the xbox one more plain and easy to follow, and i couldn't find my way around the ps3 one as well. Although they both have games exclusive to their consoles. e.g xbox has halo, and i think ps3 has uncharted ( not too sure if its playstation only)

The marketplaces are both equally good, similar thing really, it's got to be a draw.

3. GUI

The user interfaces on both consoles are good and get the job done. But which one is more user friendly. Well, Playstation went with quite a plain and basic style for the ps3 dashboard. It has it all, but their isn't much colour or much customisation. On the xbox, there is lots of colours on the dashboard and a nice windows like style to the theme. It has a basic colour scheme (green) but it works well, and the way it doesn't just display your friend's list but also displays their avatar,bio etc.

I think the award for the Gui goes to xbox, as it seems more user friendly and customisable than the ps3.

4. Overall

I don't want to get into too much detail about what it looks like and how good the fans are, if you're really that nerdy, well, i don't even want to know. Overall, I think the xbox has one , but they are both very good consoles.
