On each submission you can end up with comments, and you are notified when this happens. It would also happen when someone replies to your comment. Messaging is a private thing and can only be seen by you, the sender, and the moderators.

Your profile is the place where you explain some info about you, maybe some other things. Also all your submissions will appear here, along with things you have Favorited, or subscribed to. You will also be able to see how many submissions you have, how many times a submission has been downloaded, how many subscribers, total views from submissions, how many experience points you have earned, and when you joined Planet Minecraft. You can also link your twitter (not working at the moment), Skype, YouTube account, Steam account, a personal website URL, and a Deviant account name. Here you can also edit what class you are, your forum signature, and choose who your friends and foes are.

The chat area is quite extensive, you can chat with others and have some fun, or go into some of the other chatrooms and talk about other things.

LiveTV is the area of Planet Minecraft where you could watch people streaming from Twitch.

Chapter 7: Members
Members are the brightest and- You know what? Screw it! We're awesome! We're badass! We don't need books! Alright never mind we may need books but still. Planet Minecraft couldn't of existed without all of us! Also that tab at the top of the screen isn't of any particular use at the moment.
Chapter 6: Contests
Contests on Planet Minecraft are quite different then what you might see anywhere else. The contests here could be of buildings, skins, or even an idea.

Step Four: You can either add a server to your personal server list (By clicking "Add Server") or directly connecting to the server (By click "Direct Connect").

Step Four: Extract the map into your saves file (To reach your saves file, go into a search bar (File Explorer, Start Bar, etc.) and type "%appdata%", at the top of the window should be a folder called ".minecraft". Open that up, and click on the folder that says "saves".
