Levelling-up on PMC
I started out PlanetMinecraft like everyone else...a new miner. Many a person is stuck on low levels in minecraft and they have trouble gaining experience points. This blog outlines the ways that I and some of friends use to level up as quickly as possible. It is always good to see how high you can get. Currently I'm at level 13 and struggling for experience so I always refer back to this blog for help :).
The ways of getting experience points are as follows:
o Uploading content
o Users commenting or and viewing on your content
o Users favouriting and diamonding your content
o Users downloading your content
o Users replying to your comments
o Users subscribing to you
The next steps are what I do to get points quickly:
1) Uploading skins regularly. Making a minimum of two skins a day then uploading them gets you fast levels. If you are not very good at making skins or don't know how try Nova Skin. That is what I use.
2) Upload a texture pack. Make an effort to upload at least one texture pack. They usually get lots of views and downloads even if they aren't very good.
3) Participate in a contest. Contests are a great way to get your name out there. Other contestants are always looking at other entrees for tips and modifications they can make to their own so entering one gets you view-points.
4) Contribute to the site. By this I mean diamonding, commenting and generally interacting with other user's uploads if they are good enough. This makes them more curious and more likely to subscribe to you.
5) Upload quality content. Try not to post stuff that is not to your best standard. You may then get a bad name and that is not good for your fame.
I hope this guide helps you out. I got the ideas from my friends who have been on Planet Minecraft for a while but I have only just started.
Thanks,
Salgourd
