Welcome to the Planet Minecraft Community (PMC)! We're excited you've chosen to become part of the creative community! We strive to be a family friendly site that shares and respects the creative works and individual interests of others. We provide a variety of entertaining ways to share content, socialize and make friends with members from around the world. We hope you will have and help contribute to a positive experience while here.


LET'S GET STARTED!
Here's a small list of things we encourage you to do:

• Visit your Quick Menu which makes it easy to see everything you can do in one place.
  
• Introduce yourself on our introduction forum. Say hi to other new members while you're at it!
  
• Learn how to customize your profile page! Have fun with it and make it your own.
  
• Check out the latest Community Event Calender to see if there are any events you'd like to participate in.
  
• Familiarize yourself with the rules. Reading time is about 10 minutes.
  
• Follow us on Twitter!
  
• Submit your first creation and start earning experience!
  
• Find and subscribe to members with content you enjoy. Your homepage will display a custom feed from all of your subs.
  
• Familiarize yourself with the navigation and everything in between. Clickity, click.

WHAT'S ON PMC?
We support the creativity of Minecraft in many forms. Minecraft skins and maps are our most common content types and there are sections dedicated to Minecraft servers, mods and resource packs. We have various blog categories that range from art to tutorials. We have forums with many different topics of discussion.

We also hold contests almost every month! Some experimental sections include Minecraft YouTubers and our own TV channels. We hope you find your niche here and maybe branch out into something new!


PLANET MINECRAFT EXPERIENCE
We have a ranking system and when you contribute to the community you'll start earning experience (XP), level up and unlock classes. XP is awarded when you upload quality content or participate on the forums. You also continue to earn XP as your content receives diamonds, downloads, views, favorites and replies.

When you give diamonds to other members, you help them earn XP points and level up! You can also give emeralds, but only on Forum posts! Be sure to check out what levels you can unlock when you've earned XP!
