Well you guys, I thought of kind of a funny thing to get rid of spam, I doubt it would ever work but nonetheless I want to write it.
Obviously it would be stupid to try and have people actually apply for membership, but hey, just answer the questions to yourself and see if you are actually using PMC the right way, not the -try-to-be-popular-spam-for-diamonds-and-subs-crap way.
Anyone can join PMC, that includes dishonest trolls that will contribute nothing of their own work to this site and/or spam. Why on earth would we want people like that on PMC? Yeah, I can't think of a reason.
That is why I came up with a hypothetical application you have to fill out to be accepted as a PMC member. Enjoy.

NON-acceptable answers: want to get popular, want to get diamonds, I want to troll others, I saw something I didn't like and I want to hate on it.
What can you contribute to PMC/Minecraft?
Acceptable answers: I make original creations that I think people might enjoy, I can make requests for people, I can help others improve, I am improving my skills and think that I will be able to make things people want to use in game.
NON-Acceptable answers: I can copy other people's work and post it, I can give people hate, I can spam the site, I can be a rude troll to people.
Are you willing to put time and effort into your own creations?
Acceptable answers: Yes, I feel it is important to try my best and spend time on things I make until they are up to the standards of PMC.
NON-Acceptable answers: Naw bro, I spend like 5 minutes on stuff so I can post a lot and get DiaMOnDS!!!1!! I'll just copy someone else's stuff, they probably spent a long time on it.
Can you use proper grammar?
Acceptable answer: Yes, proper grammar is important and will make me sound profession and educated.
NON-Acceptable answer: no, i dont rly know how to use it the most correct and i dont want to try. ppl r just going to have to use there brains and understand me bc im not changing.

Do you think it's ok to send hate to others?
Acceptable answer: No, I think it is ok to critique but commenting in a way that is just hateful and not productive at all is stupid and meaningless.
NON-Acceptable answers: YES. if they make something that SUCKS i need to tell them as rude and hateful as i can that it SUCKS. and that they SUCK too.
Are you able to accept/givecriticism?
Acceptable answers: Yes, this is a creative community and I know there are people out there with more experience than I do. I should listen to them to help myself improve. I will also respond politely if I do not understand what they are telling me. I can also give criticism in a nice way to others as I have experience as a builder, skinner, etc.
NON-Acceptable: HELL NO. if i make something i ain't listening to anyone. i made it and they can buzz off because they don't know what the hell they is talking about!! why would i give someone help if they suck? just say they suck and move on!
DO YOU FULLY UNDERSTAND THE RULES OF PMC?
Acceptable answer: Yes, I read them and I understand what I can and can't do. If I break a rule I will listen to what the moderators say in order to fix what I've done.
NON-Acceptable answer: Rules? THose are just suggestions, I do what I want!!1! If a moderator says otherwise then i will give them hell lol! I am the exception! Freedom for me!! VIVA LA FRANCE!

Besides, if you were on a website to troll people, I think you would be able to identify the application form requires a sense of professionalism and therefore you would just bullshit your way through it... So therefore an automated checking system would not work. Also do you wish to code something that checks ALL grammar rules and set the right difficulty? Where do you draw the line on good and bad grammar.
And lets face it, the PMC server is over-capacity with constant SQL connection errors being thrown out. Running a resource intense grammar check to all players is just going to overload the server even more.
I can however see your point that the site would be great with a more mature audience, but let's face it... MineCraft is a game, a game of blocks like lego, who plays the game I hear you ask? We do, people from 8-40 (Yes, I have seen an 8 year old server owner (granted, it was a bad server) and a 40 year old server owner (also a bad server :D)). So why would Paril, Cyprezz or whoever setup a filter against a large section of there target audience? The site is here to hold the community together, however it is also a source of revenue for the creators, through advertisements- so cutting of there market would devalue the site hugely, and lose them cash.
Basically your argument is flawed, now if you don't mind my film just finished downloading so I can go back to my Tuesday evening of popcorn, coding and film watching. <3
