PMC Tutorials: Set Your Status!

Hey everyone! I recently viewed a forum by someone asking how to change their online/offline status, and since I am yet to find a tutorial on this, I have decided to make one myself.


So let me start by sharing this only works if you have a computer. In other words you cannot change it on your phone.


Step 1) go to settings and turn of “compact header”.

Step 2) look toward the top right of your screen, you will see a little rectangle displaying your profile picture, how much XP you have until the next level (and total xp) and it will also have a green bubble that is your status indicator.


Step 3) click the green indicator and it should come up with a list of choices for your custom status. “Online” (default when you are active on the site) “Offline” “idle” and “do not disturb”. Select one of the above and it will display it if you are online! If you select “offline” it will show you as offline and it will not show you as online at any point in time.

Things to know: if you drag your courser over another member’s name, it will bring up a little profile showing their member statistics, and if you hover over their indicator when they are offline it shows how long they have been offline for. If you change it to offline permanently though, it will simply say “offline.” And nothing more.

I personally prefer Idle as I am not always like, writing a reply or post and am just browsing so I like to use it for that purpose.
