Pointless blogs?

I swear, there are some ridiculous blogs out there.

I just read a paragraph long one about a skeleton that had no point at all. It wasn't even a story or anything. It pretty much was "Oh look at this skeleton, ok bye." I mean I understand that blogs give you experience, but couldn't you put a little more effort into it? :c There are so many things you can write about that skeleton, and it doesn't take but ten minutes to write.
Another thing I hate to even see, which I know people have written about it before but: people asking for other people to host a server for free, so they can be the "owner." Rly? The first thing I think is "exactly why should I?" You'll lag up my computer. You won't give me credit. And who know what else you'll do. Second thought would be something along the lines of "if I can make my own server, why would I need you?" The typical response being: "I've been op on 12343543789578924385734758 servers and have played for 7 years. I build amazing things, but I don't know how to screenshot." Just. No.
