It's g_r_e_y_. I am terrible at PVP, but it's time for me to explain stuff.
If anything in this article is wrong, let me know. I am not that much of a PVP nerd.
My last one was well… Too essay like. I didn't like the feeling of a school essay, so I'm explaining things MY WAY.
Most of the stuff is my opinion, and I'm using the MAC scale (Movement, Aim, Clicking)

What is the MAC or CAM scale? It stands for Movement, Aim, Clicking and is supposed to be an evaluative scale to determine the base 3 1.8 Minecraft PVP Skills. It ranges from either 1-10H (hard) or 1-15E (evaluative).

Bridging

Bridging is an important skill in Minecraft PVP. It is typically only used in PVP game modes that use blocks. Typically, bridging is not too used unless you are being chased, or you need to get somewhere else in a quick amount of time. In bridging, there are many methods of bridging. The most common methods are ninja bridging, and sneak bridging. Sneak bridging is a careful, but slow method. You typically need to sneak diagonally to utilize sneak bridging better. Although it is a careful method, you may get shot down by bow users (explanation soon…) If you are good at timing, you can use ninja bridging. It requires you to sneak and unsneak while bridging. This is typically faster, and is probably the most frequently used bridging method. Now there are faster methods such as God bridging, Telly bridging and Breezily bridging. These methods are faster, but typically require more skill and clicking. A brief explanation : God bridging requires you to walk diagonally and placing blocks, and you must jump after about 8–9 blocks. Telly bridging is jumping and bridging, while looking back for a second to release momentum. Breezily bridging is walking backwards while swerving from left to right, while placing blocks. On the MAC scale, you may need to focus on clicking, as fast clicking is required for faster bridging methods.

Blocks : The Basics

Using blocks in PVP is an important skill to learn, whether you can stun the enemy's movement, build walls, bridge, and many more things. When you use blocks correctly, you can easily traverse the battlegrounds, and run away from enemies easier. The common tactics with using blocks is stunning your enemy's movement, block spamming while running, and bridging. Although these tactics might not be seen too much, they are really common in terms of Minecraft PVP with blocks. Stunning movement is a powerful method, as it can buy you even a few seconds of time. To stun your enemy, you need to place a block in front of your enemy, stunning them for a few seconds. Spamming blocks while running is really self-explanatory. When you do that, you slightly speed up your running and jumping speed. On the MAC scale, you may need to focus on movement really heavily, as you need to run, sneak and walk.

Combos : The Basics

Combos are a really important skill to learn. Comboing is essentially hitting the enemy multiple times in a row consecutively, without being hit. To combo, you need every skill on MAC. Combos are really deadly, because combing every skill on MAC makes you really powerful.

CONCLUSION

Bridging, using blocks, and comboing are sub-skills that aren't really important, but can help you throughout PVPing.
