I just wanna know, will endermen burn in the day? i mean come on! they might as well be the next herobrine! i dont want to run around minecraft lookin for pumpkins! they've got to have a better weakness than that! please someone respond so that we can get to the bottom of this! Something has to work on those guys! Besides hacking of course.

I don't know if that's true or not, but if it is, that adds some sort of balance.
But you have to understand that Minecraft 1.8 is going to mainly take the Survival aspect out of it.

It would then be reasonable to say that the Endermen would probably only attack in areas (possibly the new biome) in EXTREMELY remote areas. I think that would be heaps freaky.
Imagine going for an adventure in the woods to get some resources. You build a small camp.
Suddenly, after coming back during the day you see a few blocks out of place... Boom. Fear.
You immediately run all the way to your house. So I don't think they'd make them appear near NPC Village's or things like that.
