They are always watching...
The Aliens, that's who! They have been traveling for over four centuries in outer space. Their spaceship made energy by churning around the aliens waste product, the element, radium.
Radium is a green sort of element. It glows and is used in some glow-in-the-dark clocks. It is very radioactive but the aliens were resistant to radiation poisoning. Well, they weren't resistant, it's just that they have been around so much radioactivity they have become resistant to it. But it took a tole on them.
At first, when they entered the spaceship, they had no idea their "poo" was radioactive. They realized it made a great source of energy and took started churning it around in their spaceship.
The aliens looked something like a lemur, something like a bird, something like a mouse, and something like an octopus. Strange, but beautiful creatures they were. They had two arms, two wings, two tails, and octopus-like legs. Their heads sort of a bird-like lemur face.
The first sign of the radioactivity was that one of the aliens started to grow a fourth arm. I know, they have two arms, but this particular alien had a birth defect that made him grow a third arm coming out from his chest. His arm didn't move, it just stuck straight out and was only used for slapping people. His fourth arm grew out from his shoulder.
The aliens looked at him puzzled, "Is this another birth defect?" They wondered, no clue of what awaited them.
The second sign was that several alien's face just started to melt. Like a candle. Their cheeks started sagging and their eyelids almost closed shut. Their mouth hung open, just waiting for bugs to fly in.
The third sign was that the tips of their legs began to stick together. The only way for them to move was springing on their glued-together legs. More and more signs came up and just as the captain of the ship's mouth opened, never to close again said,
"All right ee are hinding ah sus ah dis prolem iss eeor it gets worse."
He couldn't close his mouth so that's what is sounded like. The real version,
"All right, we are finding out what this problem before it gets worse!"
The aliens whole-mouthedly agreed.
They searched around their ship and seemed to find nothing that would cause such a strange mutation. The problems just kept getting worse.
They were lost in space, but they had been watching a far-away blue planet called "Earth" and decided to ask the possible inhabitants about their problem.
The aliens were overly compassionate and nice and expected everyone to help them. However the humans on planet Earth weren't ready at all for the aliens.
When the aliens arrived, they crashed onto earth's surface, right in the middle of the new year's ball festival. Everyone kept on celebrating, because they thought the ship had come out of the ball. But then three hairy balls of goo and feathers blobbed out of the ship.
The humans screamed and ran for the hills, but New York had no hills! Everyone frantically searched around for hills they could run to, but their were none in sight!
The aliens then grabbed the microphone from One Direction who were preforming at the Ball-Dropping. One Direction screamed and ran off into the crowd of girls who let them walk on their hands over the crowd.
"Ee cerm en pis hoomas. Ee ed yer hep. Ee or defeed en ned hep!!!"
No one obviously knew what they were saying and they all ran around like mice in a maze. Then, out of the blue, Imagine Dragons came up on a secret platform and started imagining dragons attacking the aliens!
And then, out of the nowhere, dragons start attacking the aliens and they started running for the hills. It turns out, some aliens were in the ship and they started making hills for the humans to run too. The other aliens sprung unto their ship and left earth, deciding to colonize Venus.
What they didn't know, is that Venus was extremely hot. They all went to Venus and walked out of the spaceship and immediately turned into puddles. The aliens were made of water and radium and finally so much water built up that Venus turned into a toasty swamp and the rest of the aliens lived there.

I just don't know how they pronounced "p" in "hep" without closing their mouth. Otherwise, good story.
And I don't also know how One Direction screamed xD. Maybe the members :P
