It doesn't have any ending or anything, really just a snippet tbh.



Her big, amber eyes gazed at the sky. It was so blue, so pretty. She
loved the color so much, but she could only see it outside
her window; since there was nothing blue in her room, or in the
entire house, for that matter.

“Horis,” She called for the servant instinctively, not taking her eyes from
the window. He arrived quickly, silently, like he had been taught to
do. He was twelve years old, six years older than the young mistress
he served.


“Yes, miss?” He gave a short bow, his ash-blond hair falling over his
blue eyes.
She turned to him and
tucked a lock of black hair behind her ear.


“Horis, please go ask my father if I could have a blue dress. Tell him I’d
like one very much.”


“Anything else you’d like me to say, miss?”
His surprise at her request did not show. The peasants did not
question the Carded. They were their superiors, and if they wanted to keep their jobs, they
obeyed.


“No, that is all.” She gave a wave of her white hand as she dismissed
him. He gave another bow before silently leaving. She
turned back to her beloved window,
wishing that Father would allow her this commodity.
