I've decided it would be fun to start taking things - random things that I have laying around my house - and start building them to scale in Minecraft.

This first episode is my to scale copy of a life size Roman gladius I've constructed using only cardboard and duct tape. The Minecraft model is built on the arbitrary scale of 27 inches = 84 meters. I don't know why that's how it ended up, but it is.
