Redstone Beginner Tutorial!

Welcome to my beginner Redstone tutorial! Just follow this guide to start your Redstone using journey!Lets start off by me telling you what Redstone is and what it is used for.
1. What is redstone?Redstone is basically all of the "Power" in minecraft. It's like a minecraft form of electricity.There are a few types of Redstone.

1. Redstone Dust
   
2. Redstone Torch
   
3. Redstone Repeater
   

2. What is it for?
Redstone is used for making all the cool things in minecraft. Basically, Traps, Songs (Using Noteblocks,) and Games.
It's also for powering something from a distance.

3. Okay, Now what will I make first?
Okay, First you will make a simple On and Off switch for water.

First, Make a room


Next, Put 2 holes at the middle of the last block on the roof
Step 3:Put two pistons on the top of the wall next to the hole.
Step 4: Build a 3 block high wall around the hole, Include putting walls on the piston
Put a little edge on the side of the pistons, Include putting redstone torches on both blocks that go 1 high
Place water on top of the pistons
Place 4 Redstone Repeaters on 4 blocks behind the redstone torch block. Then connect both repeaters to a lever.

Now when the lever is pulled, Water will fall!
You can also design it to be nice!
When you pull the lever, the water is gone!
