This is a redstone tutorial series for beginners. In this tutorial and the advanced tutorial, Io ll try to teach everything I know about redstone.

When I started learning about redstone, I thought people who built redstone computers were geniuses who had been in the biz since indev. After about half a year of very unproductive redstone building, I decided to learn how computers work, and it didno t take long to learn. Redstone suddenly became 5 times as fun.

Before you learn about computers, you need experience with the basic components of computers. Thato s what the beginnero s tutorial series will be about.

But before you learn about redstone at all, you probably need reasons to learn about redstone, so here are some reasons:

-Redstoning is fun, more so as you learn more.

-Ito ll help you not go into zombie mode. Youo ll never be bored again.

-Every time you build or learn something new, youo ll remember that for the rest of your life, and youo ll be happier for the rest of your life.

Just remember to have fun with redstone physics and simple devices along the way, because it will take time to learn. Io ll leave learning redstone physics to you (how redstone dust and torches and repeaters work). It is far easier to learn redstone physics by going into a creative world and messing around with redstone.

Maybe we could collaborate on this one ? I've been thinking about creating tutorials about Logic gates, and the different way's to build them. Good tutorial series :-)
