Hello, and welcome! I have decided to start uploading thoughtful blogs to PMC!
This blog is about Respect and how we should handle it.
--- Renic ---
A while ago, when I was a noob at Minecraft, I found a server called Mercurycraft (Closed down now). It was extremely fun, and well made! I met a guy named Renic1000000, and he was a great friend! But he ad a problem with respect. Not to me, but to everybody else! Another player on the server was ---------- (lol i forgot his name!!!), and he constantly made cool stuff! One day, he built a really cool and fancy spleef arena! He was so proud of it, and bragged about it constantly! Everybody loved it - except Renic. He was jealous of the attention ---------- was getting, so he slaved day and night to build a BIGGER and BETTER spleef arena! Renic then got all the attention he wanted, but left ---------- in the dust!
--- Why he was Banned ---
This story deals with respect because Renic did not respect ---------'s spleef arena. And moreover, he didn't respect ----------- himself! Renic repeated this story over and over to many different people. Soon, he had topped off everybody on the server! Nobody liked Renic anymore because he had made them all feel terrible, so after Renic tipped off the owner of the server, Renic was banned.
--- How to stop it ---
Did renic get what he deserved? I think so. He had a problem with respecting people, and many at that! I transferred to another server with him after that. I told him why he was banned, and he understood. He continued to build epic builds, but he did not make a spleef arena if the server already had one. He kept his ideas ORIGINAL and people began to like him! In conclusion, everybody has their values. Most of them are really small, such as a Minecraft build. If you dis somebody's values, they take it as disrespect and will probably no longer like you.
--- Conclusion ---
Renic could have built those builds and still respect people, but when he did it repeatedly, the players realized he disrespected them. Respect is what makes a person vulnerable. If you poke at their sore spot, they won't like it. To avoid it, try to be nice to them. Maybe ask them if they want to help you on your next build! Say that they inspired you, say that you look up to their builds! This will patch their sore spot up, therefore respecting them!
Thank you for reading my first blog! I hope your brains will perceive the message portrayed in this blog!
