??Schematic or Worldsave??

To be honest I'm not really what this is all about, but just lately I've heard people going on about MCEdit closing down for good and that Schematic files no longer working on newer versions of minecraft...
Now this doesn't seem to effect me one eye-ooter cause i don't use minecraft online and i'm using an older version of minecraft that still seems to be very much compatible, HOWEVER!! i wouldn't like to think that anyone downloading my stuff is gonna be disappointed when they cant import it into their game.
So my question is, Just how many people are effected by this?? Should i put World Saves on my projects??

To be honest If someone could let me know whats actually going off with this, i'd be very grateful!!

PLEASE include world saves. I've been devastated by this, my projects have slowed down to refits. This is a serious issue, as most people play 1.2. Thanks in advance.

Ahh righty... so theres no problem with people importing world saves between different versions then??

Not that I know of. Some guy just commented about my first adventure series pack which was from 1.7, so I think not O_o

Ahh right, well must be alright the cause i'm on 1.9 and I've never had a problem with you adventure pack.

I don't really but when i last tried to update it corrupted the game... luckily I managed to restore my computer to a previous stage and get it all back, but Im a bit dubious about trying it again.
