Ok, so a lot of times, when I am applying for a position for staff on a server, I get rejected. It's not because I have a bad application, it's just that I don't have Skype! I mean, it's annoying! I don't just want to give myself to random people. I mean, I have standerds! I understand that some people think it's so cool, because you can chat easily, but seriously? They have Minecraft chat for a reason! Besides, you have to close minecraft, and go AFK, just to send a message!


It's irrelevant! So, people of Minecraftia, Tell me, is Skype really THAT big of a deal? That you have to have it to be a mod? I mean, some of these people are AMAZING people, and could make a server so much better, but get rejected for the simple reason, they don't have skype! So, everyone, face the simple truth: is making people have skype to be mod (or sometimes just PLAY on your server), really worth it? So, next time someone sends an application, I beg of you: DON'T Reject them, just because they don't have skype!
