Server Population.

I recently made a new server, and i have posted on pmc, i got my first 28 views in one hour, than no more for like 2 days, anyone have any ideas to get people on my server that will stay on? also, are there any other minecraft server lists besides mcsl and pmc (the big 2) ? because i have posted on both and i posted on every other website i could find but pmc and mcsl brought in about 10 members total (the others brought in 0) -how i know this=i ask the people that log on where they saw the server.
