Okay, so as the title says, this is my Single Player Commands (or SPC to more experienced players) guide to noobs.
So lets start with the basics: /help>> Now this is a pretty simple yet helpful command that shows you all the commands, BUT, it does not however, tell you how to use them or what they do at times. So here is a LOONNGG List of SPC's and what they do:
/help: Displays the main commands
/me: Basically, its just a differet type of chat that lets you talk in third person (ex: /me
/weather: this allows you to change the weather for a set amount of time, but to a max of 10,000 seconds.
/toggledownfall: this is basically the same as ^this^ but, it only stops/starts the rain
/tell&/msg: Send a private message to another player
/tp: Teleport to another player
/tpa: Request to teleport to another player
/time (set;add) Set the time in-game
/publish: Allow people connected to your wifi to join your world
/spawnpoint: Set your/another players re-spawnpoint
/give: Give a player/yourself a specific block or item in a specific quantity
/kill: Commit Suicide or kill another player
/entity: Spawn a entity or mob
/gamemode&/gm: Change your current game mode or that of another player
/clear: Clear a players inventory or remove a item
/achievement give: Give a player/yourself a completed achievement
/effect: Give a specific player a specific effect for a set amount of time. (Max is 1,000,000 seconds)
/defaultgamemode: Set the default gamemode (ex: survival, adventure, hardcore, creative)
/enchant: Enchant a item with a specific enchantment+level
/xp: Give/check another players/your experience and level
/seed: Shows the world seed
/gamerule: Change a current game rule's status (ex: false/true)
Well, thats all for now, and I hope this helps. Have a nice day. and remember: Watch out for that creeper!

Sincerely,

When I try to start it, I go to make a new world, it says 'building terrain', then Minecraft stops responding and crashes. any idea on why that would be? I started out with a completely clean minecraft 1.7.5, and went over the tutorial again, but it still doesn't work. any idea why?
Thanks,

Im so sorry I didn't respond sooner. My home internet hasnt  been working and I just saw your comment. But I believe the problem is actually with your computer. It may not have the proper amount of ram or proccessing speed to play minecraft. Does it crash when you launch Minecraft? It probably doesnt have anything to do with minecraft itself. You probably dont have a strong enough pc.

No, I figured it out. I tried using it in 1.7, but I soon realized that didn't work.
Thanks for the reply anyway,
