In the music video, there’s a scene towards the end where taehyung (aka the guy the whole video is centered around) raises a mask to his face and a single black tear rolls down his cheek. The album that this is from is called Love Yourself: Tear and the main song on it focuses on the fact that some people live without self-love, and even self-hate. Singularity is about not really knowing who you are, living without self-love, and showing a “mask” to others. The single black tear in my drawing and in the music video I enterpret as death of self, but not a true death, but rather an inner death. The loved earring in the drawing also represents the “loved by many, known by none” theme from this song.
