Hey, AdamVoid here, today I am doing a tutorial on what programs you should use for skin making and also some advice on how you make skins.
1. (Finding A Program) Don't just find a random website and create an account and skins on it, it might be a virus, hack or something along those lines. Make sure you have researched on it first or you can read this tutorial on what programs you can use.
2. (It's Alright To Get Help) In skin rules you are aloud to use somebody elses skin as a start off model but you must make sure it looks different from the one you started of on at the beginning. I use to use other peoples skins as a start off model when I wasen't on Planet Minecraft but not anymore, using other skins as a start off model is good for begginers.
3. (Make Sure Your The Original) Before you make a skin or post a skin look up the title of your skin and make sure there are no other skins that look like yours and has the same name or you could get banned. I have seen people get banned on Skindex for doing so since they thought it was just copying.
Now that we have done a few begginers tactics let's get on to what programs to use.
1. (The Skindex) Skindex is a website similar to Planet Minecraft except it only uploads skins and can be used as a Skin Editor/Maker. It is rather easy and great for begginers since the tools are labeled and VERY easy to use. The tools are Pencil Tool, Auto Tone, Undo, Redo, Color Picker, Eraser, Darken Color and Lighten Color. I use Skindex to make my skins and I always have. It's easy to use and very popular.
2. (Nova Skin) Nova Skin is very similar to Skindex although it is a bit harder I'd say. It isn't the best software to use for begginers but it is good to use if your use to skin making. I use it sometimes but I honestly prefer Skindex but all the same this is a great skin editor. A lot of people seem to use and love it since you can even remodel mobs on it. I'd use this once your use to making skins.
3. (Other) There are a lot of different other skin editors out there that you can use, I've only mentioned the two I use and I find good to use. Just follow my steps I said earlier and it'll be easy to find other ones but just incase I'd just do Skindex or Nova Skin.
Thanks for reading, I found this very fun to make so I hope it helps you out a lot. I will make more of these kind of stuff in the future.
Cyas all till next time!
