Hi guys! This is my first try at a tutorial of this kind, so comments and suggestions are appreciated!
The focus is on unifying colours - this means making the colours of your Minecraft skin match better, to give a better overall look. Although I'm using Photoshop, you can still use this idea in programs like Paint Tool Sai or GIMP, and just manually mix the colours.
It was inspired by this DeviantArt post, which you should definitely go and read because it covers a few more pointers about making unified colour palettes.
