Make sure Minecraft is closed while doing this.

Click on the "Macintosh HD" or whatever you called it (the silver hard disk thing on your desktop).

Click on Library. In there should be a folder called Application Support. There should be a folder called minecraft in there. If it isn't there, go back to Macintosh HD and go into the Users folder. Click on the little house, that should be your computer. There should be a Library folder in there, with an application support folder in there, with the minecraft folder inside that.

Go into the minecraft folder. There should be a folder called bin. In there there should be a file called minecraft.jar, unzip that using StuffIt Expander or another unzipping program (I use StuffIt Expander, you've got to change it to a zip file first, but it works fine).

Open your newly compressed minecraft.jar folder, browse around in it for a folder called mob. In there, there should be an image file called char.png, along with all the other mob skins. Replace char.png with your chosen skin, making sure its a .png file.

You're done! :D
