I woke in a cold sweat, I remember a vague shadow penetrating my soul but I decided that it was just my imagination getting the best of me. When I looked at the clock I was displeased to see that the clock displayed 2:46 AM, I had only gotten 2 hours of sleep and I had midterms in the morning, in an attempt to lull myself into a state of relaxation, my heart was still racing, so I continued down the stairs ton prepare myself some hot tea. As I walked down the steps I could swear In heard whispers coming from the upstairs window, but to my own downfall In ignored it and continued my journey to the kitchen.

As I waited to hear the faint whistle of the tea kettle, I noticed a peculiar shadow in the corner of my eye, this time I felt dread, my stomach was churning, my ears were ringing, and I found myself sobbing, In wasno t quite sure why but I knew I had to get away from this entity. I started getting dizzy and went to sit down, but to my horror as I walked away from the kitchen a horrible set of fingers grasped the door frame,n I couldno t breathe, I watched as the horrific form curved itself around the doorway, It stood at least 8 feet tall, its arms and legs stretched to inhuman proportions, and its faceo ¦o ¦oh I will never forget the face, nit was a void it had no facial structures, no ears, no eyes, NOTHING! just a cold expressionless palette. I tried to scream but I felt the air leave my lungs, this shadow was pure dread, just watching it made me want to end my existence, I grasped the knife from my kitchen counter and placed it against my neck. I was about to do it, I was about to end nit all, when it opened its long, twisting arms almost as if it was inviting an embrace, but all I remember is dropping the knife, and walking towards the figure, as my vision began to blur out I saw the end of existence, I felt the most dreadful thing I ever have felt. I saw the voido ¦o ¦.
