It was a cold day, Snowdrop along with her family had just finished packing so they could move to the small town of Oxbarrow, on the edge of the feared Boneshadow Woods. Climbing into the carriage that they had loaded their items and precious things into, Snowdrop made herself comfortable and got ready for the long journey through the woods ahead of her. Her mother and father climbed into the carriage after her, and taking the rains her father began to lead them towards the dark forest.

Snowdrop was born into the small, frozen village of Stagfield. She, along with her Mother and Father lived in a small, timber house with a strong, oak roof. Snowdrops Mother was what you would suspect, a kind, loving woman who would die for her child. And her Father, was a rather muscular man, who loved his wife and cherished daughter more than the entire continent of Pertinax. When Snowdrop started school, at age 5, she was immediately an outcast. You see, Snowdrop was pale, she was lighter, smaller, and softer than the other children who were hardened by the cold weather of Stagfield. As she progressed in her grades and schooling, Snowdrop's bullying got worse. She would be pushed to the ground and called names, such as Loser, Pussy, Snowdork, and Icicle. Eventually her parents had enough, seeing as the school was doing nothing to solve this problem, Snowdrop and her family decided to move to Oxbarrow.

This, now brings us to where we left off.

The ride so far had been peaceful, the road through Boneshadow was rough, but Snowdrop and her parents didn't notice. Instead they were talking and joking, having a merry time and wondering about they're new life ahead of them in Oxbarrow. At about the half-way point, Snowdrop began hearing noises beside the carriage, covered by the dark forest. The sounds weren't normal forest sounds, such as birds singing or squirrels chattering, No, these sounds were something else. Snowdrop was nervous, darkness had fallen, and the forest became dark, and scary. A place you would see in a horror movie. Then, out of the darkness, a large shape came up and bumped up against the fragile carriage, knocking off some of the family's precious items and brutally shaking the carriage. The horse, who was pulling the carriage sprinted forward in panic, hitting a bump sending Snowdrop and her family off the carriage. Standing above them was a wolf-like creature, who bared its white fangs whilst giving off a low growl before leaping at the closest person. Snowdrop.

The creature grabbed her by her right arm, shaking her violently. Fighting for her life Snowdrop grabbed a small hatchet and hit the creature with it. The creature let her go, stunned it backed away before swinging its giant paw at her face, rendering her right eye useless. By this time, her father had gotten up, and pulled the beast off her, before taking out his sword and bracing himself to protect his daughter, and beautiful wife. Telling her to run, Snowdrop got up and obeying her fathers orders ran down the path to Oxbarrow, hatchet in hand. Once she reached Oxbarrow, Snowdrop didn't stop, in pain her fear fueled her. She ran all the way to the beautiful city of Kingsport, where she was found by Jason Steamworks, a doctor.

Jason stitched up Snowdrop's wounds, leaving her eye for last. When he got to her eye, he took out a vile. Pouring a drop in, and not having Snowdrop react, he knew that the eye had been lost. Jason removed the eye, and gave her a slightly darker, fake glass eye. After 2 days, Snowdrop and Jason went back to Boneshadow woods, and all they found was her father's blood riddled sword, her mothers hand, and a bloody mess of a carriage.

Snowdrop was an orphan. She was alone. Her parents were gone. She had no one left..
