The most frustrating thing to me on Minecraft is to find a good server!!!!
I always go to Planet Minecraft (and sometimes other Minecraft website) to find a good server but hardly EVER do I find a server to my liking.
When I do find a good server, I spend a lot of time on it before I find another server and spend all my time on THAT one and rarely ever get on the other server. :(
Often, the servers I try out are too lame, WAAAY too unpopular or they have very complicated plugins.
One day when Singleplayer was getting really boring, I suddenly found out how to do Minecraft Servers. When I got on my first Minecraft server, I didn't know anything about how to chat or Safezones or anything. I even tried to mine the Diamond block at /spawn xD. I tried numerous servers, trying to find a server that didn't have a bunch of Safezones and stuff. Then I found a server called Warzone Hostile. It had a little Safezone, which came out into Wilderness. On that server, I found out how to talk, how to do commands and I got a few friends. I spent a lot of time on that server and I felt a really-at-home-kind've-feeling whenever I got on it. One day, this Faction asked me to join. At this time I was really a noob, so I left my faction to join. A little while after that, I found out what a big mistake I had made. I couldn't get to my stuff! I had a /sethome there but all my chests were claimed by my faction! After that, I soon quit the server and checked on quite frequently to see if my chests were unclaimed, but they weren't. Pretty soon, the server shut down. I keep checking to this day to see if it is re-opened but...sadly...it isn't! :,(
Next, I found a server called Romecraft and I spend a lot of time on it. I became rather rich, had an obsidian base, some good friends and I felt at home like I did on Warzone Hostile. Then the server reset and I lost everything, a lot of my best friends that left because of the reset and I spent less time on the server, but I still loved the server. The server also changed it's name to Eldercraft.
After a couple more weeks, it reset again and the server was renamed to Strikecraft, but I still kept playing on the server. I became Moderator, got a lot of stuff and some new friends. A couple months later, it reset again but still kept the name Strikecraft.
I lost my Moderator status, Factionz was removed and the owner added some stupid protection plugin which was SOO HARD TO FIGURE OUT!!! I was fed up so I left the server with a lot of other people. I come back every now and then for like a few minutes and then I leave. I'm always checking to see if the server changes but it never does! When I left, it was so hard to find another server to my liking. Soon, I found another server called Diablocraft. The server was SOOO awesome! Plot worlds, PVP in Wilderness and the option to protect your stuff in Plotworld AND also raid in Wilderness was epic. I spent months and months on the server BUT then the PVP was removed in Wilderness and the only place to PVP was at /warp pvp (a small gloomy place) :,(. I only come back on Diablocraft every day for only a couple minutes. Next, I found another server made by the same server owner of Diablocraft. It was called Withercraft. I only spent like a couple weeks on it, before it got boring and I pretty much quit that server as well. :( After I quit those servers, I went searching for a good server. This went on for a couple of days. As I kept on searching, the more and more desperate I became. I started to quit Minecraft but then I found a good server called EpicOpCraftPVP. It had awesome (unlegit) drop parties, unlegit god kits and I became Moderator on the server. I spent a lot of days on the server and I still do to this day, but it still becomes boring. :(
I think you see my point here! It is so hard to find a good server AND servers are always changing which really puts you down a lot of the time! :(
