With the near arrival of 1.7, I thought it would be a good idea to talk about Minecraft's past, and future. Lets start back in Beta 1.7...
I don't think any of us could have predicted 1.8. It was such a game-changer for minecraft, that it affected all other updates until this point. From 1.8 to 1.1, we all thought Minecraft was headed in a MMORPG direction, sorta like Runescape or world of warcraft. And I'm also sure not many of us were happy about it.
From 1.2 to 1.4.7, minecraft was beginning to get back where it used to be - a game of survival; although it was getting more and more advanced.
Then 1.5, 1.6, and now 1.7, and it seems as though Minecraft is becoming more like tekkit. With more advanced redstone, and horses, I think Jeb is basing the new additions off of it.
So here we are now. Pre 1.7. What is going to happen to Minecraft? Will it keep evolving into something like tekkit? Or will Jeb change his idea of the game? Post what you think in the comments. And don't forget to like, diamond, and subscribe. Bye :)
