Ummmm... I'm not really sure how to explain Starwhal: Just the Tip. It's a local multiplayer game where you are a narwhal in space, stabbing other narwhals in the heart...
Ok, yep, that explains it perfectly.
Two to four players can battle it out (using gamepads, joysticks and/or keyboard) with very simple, very bad controls. Why very bad? Well, because basically you flop around like a fish out of water... which is exactly what you are. A narwhal out of water. Because you're in space, right?
The demo is free to play, but if you buy it on Steam... well, you can DRESS UP your narwhal (note my epic mohawk, and Fangalissious's gentlemanly outfit.) Not only that, but you have many, many theatres of battle, plus many different battle modes. You can play on teams, you can free-for-all, you can play capture the flag and tag...
Ok, seriously, just go try the demo. If you aren't laughing your butt off after about 15 minutes, you are dead to me. Then buy the game. It's $9.95 on Steam, with more game modes (can you say GLADIATORS?) coming.
You can try the free demo here: http://www.starwhal.com/demo.html (you'll need to install the unity plugin to play)
Then you can go buy it on Steam. No. Go buy it. Now. Because Starwhals.
