I had an idea just now. If you go onto a popular server that's been around for a while, generally it takes some time to get to the edge of the world so you can find space for building. I've been thinking that having a few "Moving Spawns" would work quite nicely. The basic idea is that, initially, people all spawn in the same place, and when they first spawn, that spawn is recorded with their name, so those people will always spawn there. Then, as the server starts to grow in size, each day a server admin would set a new spawn at the far north, east, south, and west of all the builds and stuff (maybe if it gets too big, have 4 admins do it). Now this is where new players would spawn (randomly at one of the current spawns), and they would find new space to build almost immediately, but of course, old players would still spawn at their old spawns, but be able to visit new spawns by typing /spawn <direction>.

Have something to say?
If you make two groups, one being default and the other admin, you can set different spawn points for each one, and give them both permissions to virsit each other's spawns.
