He awoke to the sound of waves. Opening his eyes and pushing himself up off the damp sand he took in his surroundings. In front of him was a thick lush forest and behind him was a seemingly endless ocean and judging from his damp clothes that's where he came from. Well at least that's where he assumed he came from at least he couldn't remember anything that happened before he was here he did have enough memories to know what things were called, what he was called but other than that it was like his mind was a blank slate.

Curious He headed into the forest hoping to find something that would give him a clue as to what happened, why he was here. As he was walking he noticed a flash of pink through the leaves and his mind seemed to immediately supply the word o pigo as his stomach clenched in hunger. continuing to walk he passed by even more pigs as well as other animals called cows, sheep and chickens. The sun was just starting to set as he came upon a deep crevice that seemed to continue on forever as if some angry giant had tried to split the earth in two.

A wave of nausea and fear washing over him at the thought of falling, he stepped back from the edge noticing that the moon had risen high in the sky while he had been entranced by the sight. Steve kept waking still trying to find something he didn't know what just something... something to let him know he wasn't alone.

He hadn't been walking long before henheard sort of an o urgho sound followed by some sort of rattling sound. His curiosity overcoming him he continued walking through the tall grass towards the sounds brushing aside some leaves he peered into a clearing, in front of him stood two figures. The first was tall and white and it had deep black empty holes where its eyes should have been in fact there wasn't a bit of flesh anywhere on the figures body, Steve assumed this skeletal archer was where that rattling sound had come from turning his attention to the second figure wrinkling his nose at the fowl smell it was admitting as rottingnflesh seemed to practically drip of its body. Steve couldn't help the sound of disgust he made as bile rose to the back of his throat at the sight of the undead figures, the sound immediately caught the attention of the two.

The skeleton raised it's bow and took aim as something inside Steve screamed danger. He quickly sprinted away as an arrow thudded into the trunk of the tree where he had just been standing milliseconds before. He ran as fast as he could the sound of rattling bones and the moans of the zombie hot on his heels. He spied a shallow cave and dived for it scrambling to pile dirt in front of the entrance as the undead got closer and closer.

He had just blocked out the last of the moonlight when he heard the grass in front of the cave rustling as the undead tried to get through his dirt barrier.
