its that time again, the time where i post a mundane blog that NO ONE WILL EVER READ. anyway this is one of the ways i motivate myself to continue playing my world, so ill continue. HAHA! anyway lets get started:
i first decided to find some netherite. i had some 12 or so beds from when i was breeding villagers, and now that was done, had the idea to use them for something. i went to the nether, and dug to Y level 15 before beginning the detonations. i exploded all of the beds, and while i had some close calls with the beds exploding in my face, and having some lava nearly burn me to death several times, i never actually died. i found one measly piece of the grey gold (netherite) and was mildly disapointed at how little i had gotten. back when i played bedrock edition, it was very easy to get the netherite. im not sure, but i guess that the distribution is slightly different and taht its simply rarer on java edition.
i made it out of the nether once my beds had been disposed of, and was at least grateful that i had found some form of use for them, other than taking space in my chests. i then realized that i hadnt gotten ANYTHING whatsoever from the new 1.20 update, and went on a voyage overseas. the voyage had me find several pretty sights, but i was mostly looking for ocean ruins to explore. i found some small ruins and realized i forgor to bring the new brush item to sift at the suspicious gravel, and the sands. i then sailed the ocean all the way back home, and crafted a brush. i then went BACK to the ocean, and used magma while shifting to breath underwater all while i got all forms of iron axes and wooden hoes. i also got 3 shelter pottery shards, and 1 snort pottery shard. the name of the latter still cracks me up in laughter! i also found a sniffers egg, and got an achievement while doing so. i was very surprised, and placed it when i got home. later the creature hatched, and i noted how very ugly it was. it is non pixel accurate i must sadly say. besides taht it did give me some seeds for the pitcher plants, which were rather pretty.

i then managed to gain the courage to spend dozens of emeralds to just level up my armourer trader in my trading hall. it was costly, but i managed to make him sell me full diamond armour, with protection II on most pieces of armour. the only one not to have protection II was the helmet-which had respiration
i also had quite the fun time spamming"E" in my chat, before taking the screenshot for this. i was a tab foolish there.
again i realized i needed to kill the ender dragon, and decided to get the rods to do it. the blaze rtods were within the nether fortress. i ventured to it, and had many flashbacks to the unfortunate times id died there before. i braved the nasty halls, killing several withered skeletons, even gaining a wither skull on my second killing however it was all for nought as while attempting to hit a blaze just-out-of-reach i fell to my doom in lava. i tried to abuse the respawn damage resistance to my advantage, but sadly the game reloads you 3 blocks deeper in the lava when you rejoin. this caused me to submerge even deeper into the hot cheese, and ultimately caused my demise.
all my diamond armour had been lost, and my tools as well... at this point i was most upset and left the world for the rest of the day...
thats the end... imma leave on a clifhanger just 'cuz itll have you tune in next time
