Tekkit server

Now i have a question. When i create a tekkit server is it already global or is there something i need to download because i am trying to make my own server to play with some people.
I would be very happy if someone would tell me :D

P.S If you want to play when i create the server just tell me your IGN.

Well if you have friends that know how to do it that would be helpful thats the only way i was able to get my own server. Idk what to do i hope your able to get the server up :O

You should watch video tutorials on how to make a tekkit server, which is simple. And watch a tutorial on how to port forward i barely know how to do it myself so i can be no help.:( make sure the video tells how to port forward using your internet type such as 2wire and other such things

I have watched lots of videos but none have been of any help to me. I cant seem to find a good video that tels me what i need to do and most of them i barley understand so im no help at all. :(

Yes anyone can join it unless you turn on the whitelist forgot to mention that :P

If you are hosting the server by yourself on your own PC you need to port forward so that people can join your ip. My IGN is TheStrudelKing and its case sensitive and i would love to play on your server when you get it up.:D

Alright i tried doing this but this is extremely hard. I barley understand the coding and permissions and even my friend tried helping me. Although he never messed with tekkit so i might be better if you could try and make a server.
