Teleporting using command blocks.

I have tried various different ways of teleporting including: /tp @p x117 y75 z256.
This has not worked at all. I would quite like some help trying to get this working for my spawn to work on my server. Also, does the pressure plate activate 2 command blocks opposite each other.?
  • O= command block
  • _= pressure plate

Two command blocks powered by 1 pressure plate.

yep, you shouldn't put x, y and z.
the command blocks don't opposite each others

the reason the teleporting is not working for you is because you put the actual letters in. Just type "/tp @p 117 75 256"

I'm not sure about the two command blocks opposite each other, I'll probably look into it.
