I have always loved building with worledit.
but when I make a map and start building on it; i realize that its very limited, no matter how big your map is. Its a hard thing to explain.
basically I dont feel i have the freedom to work with the terraforming along with my build.
ofcourse I could use worledit, but that simply doesnt look as nice.
im sure this has been done before, but this is what i did to get the freedom i need
and id like to share it with you.
I started a flat world and made a bit of landscape on it, some simple mountains and hills.
I did not make an ocean and left the corners flat, that is so i can expland it.
then i went back on minecraft and started building on the landscape I made.
when i was happy with what I had built I expand it.
and make more terrain to build upon!
so i can keep making it as big as i want with whatever type of terrain i want, and never be limited to what i made the first time, simple enough right?
lets break it down;
1 make a flat map
2 terraform whatever type of terrain you want
3 keep the corners flat
4 build whatever you want in minecraft
5 expand the terrain and terraform again
6 build again
7 enjoy ^-^
