Texture Pack Ratings

Here is where I will post my own personal reviews and ratings to different Texture Packs. I will also provide a link to them so you may try it out yourself.

Feel free to post and tell me if you agree or not with my ratings. Also feel free to send me a message with your own ratings of texture packs and they might be posted here.

Also if there are any you wish me to rate then please send me a message or comment with the link and I will post it ASAP.

1.Aleph Setei - Alien World
16x16 resolution

So this is overall a good texturepack. The animals are good and everything seems to be well edited to make it blend in with the rest of the area around it. It is a little cartoony for my taste but that is just me. It is all on personal preference.

2.Arabesque Pack

A very good texture pack in my opinion. Beautiful affects and colors on the blocks and plants.

3. Romecraft
16x16 resolution

A very well thought out texture pack. Grass, snow, sand and animals are about the only thing that are the same as in the default. I has trouble figuring out what blocks made the checkered pattern and other weird patterns like in the screenshot on the page(Link Below).

4. Brandcrat 6.0
16x16 resolution

Has a very cartoony feel to it. Looks like there is some vanilla worked in there because of the lack of lines between blocks. I do not like that are not distinct boxes in the inventory bar at the bottom of the screen. Now one thing I do like is the whole inventory screen when I press "I" because it is somewhat see through and that is good if you play with monsters. I do like the glass and the fact that the rail system was not changed.

5. Moderncraft

A very good texturepack but it has some holes still with the new rails but as for that a good job.

6. Halo Minecraft WARS v 1.5
32x32 resolution

Has sort of cartoon feel when it comes to the items but the look of the land and other materials is a good match to halo. Now of course it is not the fault of the creator but the fault of how minecraft works.

7. cybernetics texture pack
16x16 resolution

Ok this is a ok texture pack. Now if you read the other ratings you know that I am not a fan of the cartoony look to a texture pack. Well this is a cartoony looking texture pack so that is a downfall. Also in this one I tested it on a online server where I had admin powers so I was holding many things. Well I had glass and bedrock right next to each other from building and the bedrock is clear and I placed it. So yes this means I do not like it because they look similar. But in this one there were some crazy colors but they went well together unlike other texture packs I have seen.
