Ok so this post is for those people that do not know how to download texture packs for minecraft
It is actually really really easy once you learn how to do it so here is how. but first click the spoiler at the bottom of this blog to see how to locate the minecraft folder if you don't know how :)
Minecraft Folder
To find the minecraft folder for a mac computer is you go to application support and double click minecraft
For the windows 8 It is a bit easier, you go to the start menu at the bottom left of the screen and you type in %appdata%
After that select roaming and you will see .minecraft!
It is actually really really easy once you learn how to do it so here is how. but first click the spoiler at the bottom of this blog to see how to locate the minecraft folder if you don't know how :)
- First download the texture pack you want to get and drag it onto your desktop
- Then go to your minecraft folder
- Don't forget to unzip the texture pack so that it is a file!
- go back to the minecraft folder and Click on the ResourcePacks folder
- Drag and drop the texture pack into the flyer and you are done!
- To equip the texture pack go on minecraft and in the menu go to options click texturepacks and equip the texturepack
