Hey Guys,

I would love to learn how to make a texturepack or find a free program (for Mac) that could allow me to create one.
If anyone knows something that could let me make a texturepack for free. I MIGHT switch to windows eventually
(So I can PC game better) So anyway thanks for your help guys I appreciate it :D

What you can do is get someone elses texture pack (16*16) and use a program such as gimg or paint.net ect and go over it pixel by pixel. For example, if you paint the stone block red, in game, the block will be red. Do this for the basics and look at tutorials for more advanced techniques.

to paint it u need paint.net or gimp i use gimp

just load some on elases texture pack and edit it to your liking! thats it haha

Actually, you can just access the minecraft files and overwrite them with re-textures, OR, use a texture pack you have downloaded, unzip it, overwrite the files/re-paint/texture em and then archive it again. You don't exactly need a program for it.
